A complete production team for your event. Multi-camera recording, live streaming, and broadcast — we bring the equipment, the stand, and the people to run it. Our footage also stands as video evidence when a director needs a second pair of eyes on a disputed roll or move.
Backgammon Data is a small company devoted to one thing: the careful study of tournament backgammon. We were founded by Máté Fehér, who also serves on the board of BMAB, and grew out of years of recording, transcribing, and analysing matches at the highest level.
We operate Backgammon News, which has become — almost by accident — the largest video archive of the sport in existence. We contribute analyses to the international public registry, alongside a handful of others doing the same work.
The work itself is unhurried but quick: each file is prepared by hand and returned the next day. We prefer few clients to many, and we would rather do this well than do it at scale.
In 2026 we are also directing the UBC Contender Stockholm — the European qualifier on the road to the Backgammon World Championship, held within the Swedish Open from 30 June to 2 July.
